I was looking for a home for myself my 2 children when a good friend told me about Chapel Place homes She referred me to the old property manager Ms Shirley She is the new property manager at Windsor Pointe Homes down the street from Chapel Place Ho I was looking for a home for myself my 2 children when a good friend told me about Chapel Place homes She referred me to the old property manager Ms Shirley She is the new property manager at Windsor Pointe Homes down the street from Chapel Place Homes She told me that she didnt have any vacancies in her complex but she was helping Chapel Place fill their vacancies before new management took over In desperate need of a new place I went against my better judgement I filled out a application with Ms Shirley for Chapel Place I gave her all my information got everything verified gave my deposit on June 28 I was told I could move in first of July It never happened I was told I caould move in every week but when I called I always got a different answer from when I seen someone face to face I have been told lies every week From I can pick up my keys to they are installing a new air conditioning unit Every week On Aug 2 Ms Shirley told me that I could get my keys on Aug 22 When I called that day she told me she has to wait on the property manager Teresa Thomas to get the keys So I called Ms TeresanShe told me she will make sure I get my keys that Friday Friday came she never answered the phone No one answered the phone I called called again until I got an answer Teresa told me they are still working on the unit What has been going on for 3 months I never got a call so on Sept 8 I went to Chapel Place office Ms Shirley was there No sign of Teresa Thomas anywhere I asked when would I get to move since I have been waiting so long she was very rude to myself my mother offered to give my deposit back I said okay she wrote on a piece a paper that I requested my deposit I called back on Sept 11 Ms Teresa told me she requested for my deposit which was suppose to be coming from Mississippi it will be back in a week I have not gotten a call I have been calling there is never any answer From either complex no one is ever there when I go by When I do see cars there is a sign saying they are out or the door is locked This is one of the WORST experiences of my life I am trying to find somewhere for my children I to stay they have given me the run around for almost 3 months Even with them offering my deposit back they are still holding my funds Neither have they offered me a place to stay I have already filed a complaint with BBB If I do not get any word back I will be filing a case in civil court also I will be going to the news to get some attention shined on this unfairness how they are treating people more ... hide ...
