On my sojourn to the complex, the initial thing I noticed was the intense smell of cannabis in the stairwell. The second thing I observed was a resident making a drug exchange, and then I found cannabis on the staircase as I trailed behind the drug dealer up the stairs. The loud music coming from the apartments and parked cars. The grounds seemed to be properly maintained yet a lot of garbage was scattered around. Parking is scarce; there were cars obstructing the road, particularly around curves and the dumpsters; even worse, cars were parked on the sidewalks, causing kids to rush into the drive lane where speed limits were scarcely observed. The apartment I visited was nothing like the modern ones that are advertised; instead, it featured outdated appliances and fixtures, creaking floors, windows that let air leak, and walls that were thin enough to hear all the neighbors. As I was departing, the overgrown bush at the entrance blocked the view of traffic, so I had to inch forward into the lane of oncoming traffic. There is no way I would want to live in this place, particularly if I had children. 12/10/2020 update: I returned and the situation is even worse than before!
