I stayed at the Prince George Hotel in 1985 when I was 20 or 21 years old. I had two young sons with me and it was my first time staying in such a huge, elegant hotel. The hotel staff were always respectful and we had maid service and ate at the hotel restaurant regularly. My kids even went to a nice school nearby. We would often spend time in Madison Square Park, which was beautiful and peaceful. However, after our first year living there, some unruly people moved in and ruined the peace of the park for us. Looking at old photos Blast from the past Stayed here in 1979 our last night in US after a 6 week trek across America I remember it as a beautiful building and lobby but the room was a bit tat Lol Happy days
