The rusty pipes made the water taste terrible and had zero pressure; it wasn't even hot coming from the faucets. My fridge was full of roaches when I moved in; plus there was blood splatter everywhere (nobody told me that before me a tenant had been severely beaten in that apartment). Additionally, fly larvae hatched just days after I moved in and maintenance was sparse - repairs could take any amount of time or never happen at all. To top it off, property managers Darian Hewlett and Lourdes Basco were both extremely rude as well as dishonest. On top of this all came a non-renewal notice on my welcome mat five days before Christmas - an insult if they wanted to be! To save yourself a headache: stay away from this place! For a two bedroom you can expect to pay $1200/month in an unsafe neighborhood with gun fire being common occurrence and drug dealers out conducting their business even during broad daylight hours. more ... hide ...
