Also, our apartmentApart from the one of the dumpster, all these photos are of my apartment on move-in day. The place was not well-maintained, with litter on the ground, overflowing dog waste bins and a trash compactor that overflowed every weekend. Also, our apartment was scarcely insulated but we had to pay an expensive rent for it - more than $1000/month for a 2 bed 2 bath lacking any updated features and in poor condition. In comparison to Leawood apartments of similar size, I paid the same price but those were fully renovated and well-maintained.
The only advantages were that it was livable; safe surroundings; close proximity to Lenexa city center (which is an enjoyable area); and Shawnee mission park. The management wasn't too strict either despite being pricey for me. Plus, when I moved out they worked with construction company to clear up my way so furniture could be taken out without much hassle - which I highly appreciated!
In summary: mediocre apartment with great location features; nothing extraordinary nor horrendous either.more ...hide ...
