I resided in Highland Ridge for around 5 years. I cherished the apartments, especially the one I was in, which was adjacent to Wildcat Creek and its calming noises of frogs and other animals. The maintenance staff was great, however the majority of t I resided in Highland Ridge for around 5 years. One time, I needed to discuss an extended grace period to pay the rent due to some technicalities when transferring money between banks. As I asked if a certain date worked, a female stepped in, put her hand on the desk, leaned over, and threatened me with involving lawyers. I had always paid the rent on time and then, without even hearing my story, I was met with a threat. When I moved out, I was supposed to receive $125 and I have a document signed by Irving to prove it. Both the office and leasing company made me run around for months. Right before I gave up, I received a voicemail from an unknown number saying that my check would be mailed, but I never got it. It was a very unfair situation. more ... hide ...

This place is a complete sham. Do not reside here!! We have been perfect occupants for two years, paying the rent on time, keeping the apartment tidy, not making any grievances or anything else. We have been perfect occupants for two years, paying the rent on time, keeping the apartment tidy, not making any grievances or anything else. Nevertheless, we can't end our lease two months early without paying two additional months of rent, plus a buyout fee, which is equivalent to another month of rent. Thus, if we were to finish our lease, they would receive three months of rent instead of two. They are only interested in getting money and rent. They will hang up on you when you have a problem and are attempting to address it. They rarely answer the phone. They do not repair things. They do not give proper warning before entering our apartment. Our dishwasher is as hot as our oven for months and they have yet to fix or replace it. The renewal gift for signing a second contract was a random cabinet placed arbitrarily in the bathroom, not the over the toilet organizer we were promised. Moreover, these apartments are not safe. We are two single young women and several men have attempted to break into our place. The police had to be called and people keep trying to break in. We are constantly hearing banging on our door for no reason. The police had to be summoned for other neighbors due to domestic incidents and there is constant shady activity in the parking lot. They do not follow through with their promises to help you out or fix the apartment, but they make sure to get their rent. All in more ... hide ...

Single females do not live here It is not safe I had very high hopes moving in the process of signing the lease was very easy and relatively trouble free Ive lived here for two years have paid rent on time every month My roommate and I have had nonst Single females do not live here It is not safe I had very high hopes moving in the process of signing the lease was very easy and relatively trouble free Ive lived here for two years have paid rent on time every month My roommate and I have had nonstop issues since the day we moved in The day we moved in I opened the door to a living room floor covered in broken glass I called asked and was told the balcony door was blown in from a storm It had been replaced but the shards of glass were left on the floor I was told it would be cleaned by the complex but it was not clean a week later when I returned to move in Since then we have submitted maintenance requests regarding various issues multiple times and have had to wait weeks to be seen by their overworked but amazing maintenance man Officeadministration does not care to speak to you on the phone about the issues involving lease and upkeep I have reported issues and been hung up on before I can even give my apartment number In the span on the last three months the spring of 2022 two men have tried to enter my apartment after 10pm the first one covered my peephole so I could not see who was there and the second fumbled with my lock as I held the deadbolt shut watching Aside from issues with the apartment itself this is not a safe area to live Cop cars are very often seen parked outside the apartments more than one at a time The apartments themselves are nicer than most in a college town but the difficulty getting to sleep knowing that there are people actively trying to enter your apartment is not worth it Living here has caused my roommate and I nothing but stress If you are a college student do yourself a favor and live closer to town Its safer likely cheaper and closer to your friends and campus more ... hide ...
