I am recently widowed due as my husband contacted the covid-19 virus and he had underlying health issues. I currently live in Bakersfield CA. I have lived here for 6 yrs. I have family that lives about an hour away from St. Albans, WV. My reason for choosing West Virginia is because I was born in Mullens WV, and have been trying to get back since I could remember. It's always been my dream to come back, but life happened and I had children to raise on my own and I got stuck in Chicago as that is where my job was and it paid the bills. Now that they are on their own, I'm trying to make my dream come true before I pass away. I want to give my grandchildren a place to be able to come visit me. I want to finally have a place I can call home. As my income is minimal, I'm looking for a home that offers Section 8 Housing. I'd like to find a 2 bedroom apartment if possible, so that my daughter or granddaughter can come help care for me if needed.
