I lived at Chaparral for six years, from 2011 to 2017. It was a great place to live until my ceilings started leaking and collapsing due to a water pipe bursting. The broiler room was constantly having issues and the Allen Fire Department would come out often. My living room ceiling would leak water often, but maintenance would just come and patch it up without really fixing the problem. When I reported it to the manager at the time, Jeri, she would pretend to care and send maintenance, but then she would just leave. Eventually, the water pipe burst and the ceiling in my downstairs bedroom collapsed. Jeri wanted to just patch up the ceiling, but I refused and told her that I was moving out. I had to contact corporate office in order to get my rental verification form signed so that I could move into my new place. Regina, the regional supervisor at the time, signed and submitted the form for me so that I could move out that weekend. Four years later, I found out that there was an eviction filed against me which I didn't know about because I had already moved out of Chaparral by then. Does the office EVER have workers I have called so many times to see if there was any vacancies and it just rings until i get a voicemail I would like to speak to someone Ive left a few messages but nobody ever returns my calls
