My boyfriend and I moved in knowing that I was a domestic violence victim running from the area my ex was in, yet it took her FOUR months to add me to the lease. We discovered we were not on it due to her attempting to evict us, despite our payments being made in advance for the following month. Then, "somehow" we got behind again while still paying ahead of time; we tried moving out but she never answered her phone or painted us as horrible tenants if she did answer. We had issues with another tenant making life difficult for us so wanted to leave; our water heater and AC unit died during a heat wave requiring CPS stepping in before they were repaired after two weeks. It also took three full months for them to replace our fridge, only after I threatened taking rent money and buying one ourselves if they didn't do it soon - then miraculously the next day there was a new one! The maintenance guy only adjusted knobs on both freezer and temperature settings which I had already done myself; furthermore, the freon unit needed replacing as well. To sum up: DO NOT GO HERE! This has been 100% worst experience ever - not even worth the price they are asking for these units - plus our landlord posted rent payments THREE WEEKS late multiple times throughout our stay here! more ... hide ...
