They failed to call me for my move-out and are charging excessive fees, even taking my $350 deposit and adding an extra $124. During the seventeen months I was here, my unit was broken into twice, but the property manager, Maira, was excellent. After she left, the company began treating their tenants terribly. It seems impossible to get in contact with anybody, they lie and give the runaround, thinking that they can mistreat anyone because it is an income-based facility. I am in the process of getting my real estate license and am aware that this company is disregarding many tenant rights. They need to let go of everyone and hire people who truly care. They earn the same amount as I do, yet I work in a hospital. No one contacted me regarding my move-out, and I struggled to find anyone for two weeks. Eventually, someone from Olympia reached out to me, attempting to help, but not even the corporate manager took any initiative to apologize or follow-up with my move-out. They are unprofessional from beginning to end and it is not a surprise that they do not have any good reviews. As a mother of four girls, I was initially thrilled to hear about an affordable housing option in my area. However, after dealing with the company, I am not sure I would want to pursue it any further. I initially contacted them in August and had been in contact with the previous manager, who was very helpful. Unfortunately, she quit not long after, citing managerial issues. Since then, I have been calling both locations every week but have yet to receive a response. I have reached out to Cambridge four times in the last two weeks, and have been told I need to wait for a woman named Natalie to contact me. This has been going on since September and I still have not received a callback. Is this how those with a low income are treated? Are we not important? I am certain that if management ever finds themselves in a tough situation, they would not want to be ignored or treated harshly. more ... hide ...
