I had to give a star in order to leave a review My stay at Woodmere Apartments was by far the absolute worst My 8 year old daughter and I were forced to smell marijuana coming from the apartment next to us for the entire year that we lived there We w I had to give a star in order to leave a review My stay at Woodmere Apartments was by far the absolute worst My 8 year old daughter and I were forced to smell marijuana coming from the apartment next to us for the entire year that we lived there We were afraid to run the heat in the winter and the ac in the summer because the smell was coming through the vents We were forced to freeze and burn up Management sucked She lied to me on numerous occasions Having me to believe that something was going to get done As an employee of the state and a very good tenant that paid rent on time they showed my more than once how much they didnt care about me losing my job We couldnt get settled in Our clothes were still in boxes and totes I couldnt risk getting fired or social services being called to the school in case the smell got in our clothes The marijuana smell was that strong I was paying rent plus storage fees because I refused to move all of my stuff in the apartment until the problem was fixed A year later nothing had changed They sent me a renewal notice I politely stated that I wasnt staying in the apartment another year if I had to continue to smell the marijuana They stated that they werent going to renew the tenants lease that was smoking and selling the marijuana That turned out to be another lie Law enforcement was called several times in the beginning of our stay The other tenants admitted to the cops that it was their apartment the smell was coming from Law enforcement even made the manager aware of the marijuana smell after leaving the tenants apartment Still nothing was done The manager constantly kept making excuses for the tenants because she knew one of the guys mother Her boss was notified and she didnt even feel the need to fix the problem herself Its all about money with them I wouldnt recommend moving here or even calling this home The Apartments arent even worth the rent God doesnt like ugly My daughter nor I didnt deserve what we had to endure for our entire stay more ... hide ...

Woodmere apartments have port staffrude staff They give you one sticker and one parking place no matter how many cars you have And the sticker falls off all the time I had to duck tape the sticker to my window to prevent it from falling off and getti Woodmere apartments have port staffrude staff They give you one sticker and one parking place no matter how many cars you have And the sticker falls off all the time I had to duck tape the sticker to my window to prevent it from falling off and getting towed If you get towed you have to go to this ghetto part of the city of Richmond to get your car and pay over 125 to get your car back The laundry facilities are the worst I have seen They flood and have all sorts of bugs inside and management will do nothing about it but tell you that they know about it I currently have a BBB complaint out on them for the laundry facilities I will not be staying here when my lease is up I dont recommend this place at all Plus they have raised my rent 25 every year Ive been here they say to bring it up to market value but the apartments are old and poorly renovated more ... hide ...
