The master toilet is completely non-functional and the second commode floods each day to the point that it spills out of the apartment and into the hallway of the neighbors. The sewage backflow is so terrible that it spills out onto the ground and is very noticeable. The apartment of the neighbors also floods every time someone upstairs does their laundry. On our first week of moving in, our entire apartment flooded. I'm amazed that we haven't become ill from mold. The management changes every year, which has been a very trying living experience. I recently contacted the department of public health because the situation is so bad. 4/12/22 UPDATE: the master lavatory was finally taken care of last week (after nearly nine months of not working). Our lease is ending in two weeks and they refuse to let us lease a different apartment, stating that we must renew in the same one even though the whole building has plumbing problems (ceiling flooding, water leakage from neighbors into our washroom, and our second bathroom still floods weekly). The management has gone through four alterations in two years and each one seems to understand the situation less than the last. It's very economical FOR A REASON. This was our first experience with paying the full market price and not the income-restricted price which is common in this area. Avoid building number three at all costs, more ... hide ...

The current leasing staff is just as unhelpful as the previous ones; only Roger seems to care but he doesn't have a budget either. Recent pictures showed mold on the AC vents, making this place unfit for living conditions; there are even feral cats roaming around - one cat was discovered dead in a friend's car engine! I suggest you hire someone else to maintain your property all the time instead of having one person clean it occasionally. It appears you got dinged by city for not providing proper handicap parking - is this what it takes for you to find money and maintain inside apartments? The management team always has excuses ready why they can't spend money on repairs, since they're apparently not empowered by you Owner. We had to remove AC vents due excessive mold growth; management said that wasn't an emergency when clearly it was a code violation and thus an emergency! Since then we stopped having allergic reactions such as itchy eyes, sore throat, stuffy nose etc., - do we have to go through city authorities so that all HVAC vents get cleaned and maintained?
