2021-11-03T14:00:46ZI brought my father-in-law in and applied for an apartment after receiving an email that his name was next on the waiting list. He paid the application fee and $500 right away after a short tour (not even of a model apartment, just of the office). He paid the application fee and $500 right away after a short tour (not even of a model apartment, just of the office). After 11 days and two phone calls inquiring about the status of his application, we were informed that he was "denied due to a criminal or credit background". My father-in-law has no debt and recently retired from American Airlines, which does regular background checks. I have asked what the precise problem is so we can address it. The office personnel (Megan) said they don't know what the issue is but told my father-in-law he could reapply in three months. If he really has an issue, why can he reapply in three months? He hasn't received his deposit back either. I have emailed again, asking if we can find out what the issue is so we can fix it, but no one has responded, not even to say "no, I'm sorry". I thought this was going to be a terrific place! Close to us, close to stores, nice amenities...WRONG! This place is anything but, if this is what we have to deal with. If you can avoid it, I would!
