There were several occupants who complained when in April the apartment supervisor went into their flat without warning. Also, another tenant griped that April sent one of the maintenance personnel into their flat without notice (the inhabitant was too sick to open the door) and maintenance unlocked the door and entered the tenant's residence. The tenant wasn't properly attired and the maintenance man nevertheless went inside to survey the area. Subsequently, he told the tenant April had ordered him to enter the apartment to observe if any damage had been done. Furthermore, to go in even if the tenant answered the door or not. This certain maintenance worker is no longer employed by the company. I would not recommend this apartment complex. There are numerous matters with management treating the tenants inappropriately and the corporate management does nothing about it. Additionally, April has informed several tenants that she didn't care if they contacted corporate since they would not do anything to her, or about the circumstance. This has been an ongoing problem in the area for years and it has become worse. Management at The Colony site is unfeeling and very hostile to the dwellers there. This creates the morale of the area very low. If your loved one is searching for an exceptional senior community do not choose this one as long as April and Lesha are the managers running the apartments.
