It would have been excellent if the staff had informed me that the property had been neglected and had a pest issue. Or that the unit has plenty of gaps which are suitable for roaches to inhabit and thrive, particularly in the kitchen. I am a very reasonable tenant and if they had taken into account the issues I had, I wouldn't have had any problems. I have been trying to get the roach problem sorted out for a month and all they wanted to do was blame me for it. If I had known about the roaches, I certainly wouldn't have rented the place, which the staff was well aware of. A staff member even commented about the roaches on this site. Despite this, I was unable to get any help from them. They said something would be done, but it has been a week and nothing has happened. I'm fed up of seeing roaches everywhere. The rent is very high for a place like this, which also involves paying for the pests. Initially, I was polite, but it became clear that being nice wasn't going to resolve my problems. Furthermore, the staff has no respect for privacy and can enter your unit at any time with no warning. Only if it applies to the entire building will they give you a letter, otherwise they will just enter without permission. Don't expect to have any privacy; it will be disregarded. Additionally, I have had to deal with ongoing electrical work that has caused holes in my walls. Additionally, my rent has gone up about $50 each year, which can be a bit of a burden. I agree that the previous owners did not take care of the property but the new owner is bringing positive changes Newly renovated unit looks amazing

Update since being under new management things have really turned around Previous issues weve had upon moving in has been fixed Theyve updated units for new residents adding beautiful white cabinetry added new sidewalks for the children and paved mos Update since being under new management things have really turned around Previous issues weve had upon moving in has been fixed Theyve updated units for new residents adding beautiful white cabinetry added new sidewalks for the children and paved most of the area where the carports are as well Management was one of my previous complaints but everyone apart of the new team and Judy from the old team are all wonderful Maintenance is fast and efficient too For the apartments maintenance comes out once sometimes twice a week to vacuum common areas I am very happy with new management Unfortunately this will be our last term here due to having our baby However I will definitely recommend Whitehall place apartments to my friends looking to start out more ... hide ...
