My dad lived there a little under a year The former office manager that helped my dad move in in May of 2020 was very nice and helpful The new office manager that took over when she left was rude unhelpful didnt return calls and didnt seem to care My dad lived there a little under a year The former office manager that helped my dad move in in May of 2020 was very nice and helpful The new office manager that took over when she left was rude unhelpful didnt return calls and didnt seem to care about her residents In early midMarch 2021 I called the office to say that my dad has to go to assisted living and and would be moving on April 8 and asked the office staff what they needed from me or my dad The secretaryassistant said she didnt know and would have the office manager call me back She never called back So I called again and left a message and no one called me back So I then just asked my dads doctor to type a letter that my dad had to go to assisted living On March 23 I then took the letter into the office and the office manager told me that she was still waiting to hear from corporate and would get back to me I then had to ask them to at least put a copy of the doctors letter in my dads file I again asked if there is anything they need from me or my dad while again giving the move out date of April 8 They said they would let me know what corporate says I never heard from them again So on April 5th I stopped in the office again to pay partial rent from April 1 April 8 The office manager was very rude and told me that she refused to accept the payment and that I had to pay full months rent because my dad never signed a 30 day notice I explained that she could have said that when I asked her many times what was needed instead of telling me she didnt know She continued to simply be rude and tell me that it was my dads obligation to know his lease and not her obligation to tell me what has to be done RUDE Then she simply looked at her computer screen and stopped talking to menSecondly the whole apartment complex has really bad gnats in the Spring and Summer and the complex refuses to even try to get rid of them I called exterminators and then said that the complex needs to hire them that they will not treat just one apartment The office staff and maintenance man just kept telling my dad to live with it that they will go away in the winternThird I think there is a problem with the Nipsco hook up My dad had a one bedroom apartment and the monthly bill was over 300 My daughter has a full size house with a basement in the same city and her bill is under 200 every month I think over 300 for a small one bedroom apartment is insane When my dad asked the office is anyone else has mentioned there being a problem they told him to contact Nipsco They were very unwilling to even have maintenance look into it to see if something is hooked up wrongmore ...hide ...

It's not a bad place to reside. It's very tranquil. My only issue with this apartment complex is that I requested a two-bedroom when I initially moved in, and they said I couldn't get one on short notice. So I had to accept a one-bedroom. My other grievance is that they placed me in a building with elderly people. The elderly woman is not bad, she is amiable, but the elderly man below me is absolutely detestable. He consistently gives me and my boyfriend and his kids disparaging comments when they come over or if they pass by his car. He constantly tries to report me to the office. He leaves unclean notes on my car and other vehicles if anyone parks in his spot when there are no designated parking spots. He's very discourteous. Maintenance does a good job if you need something fixed. The staff isn't too bad either. But I would really like to have a two-bedroom for when my boyfriend and his kids stay the night or when I have family or friends over who need to crash. Other than that, it's not a bad place. It would also be nice if they had a second dumpster instead of just one.more ...hide ...
