Particularly the upper stories since I heard those will be more upscale market rate apartments.Update: 2/25/20Recently, I had the opportunity to tour the building a few weeks ago during the open house after all the renovations were finished. They truly transformed this building into a work of historic art.They have lodgings on the first floor up to the 5th floor. On the bottom they have built to suit space prepared to be leased out for commercial space. The dwellings range from studios to 3 bedroom. The laundry room is in the basement with a waiting/children's area and further storage.The only thing I foresee being a difficulty is that there are fewer parking spaces than lodgings, and parking is also first come first serve so I can visualize that being quite difficult.These apartments are Income Based and NOT low income/section 8 housing. There is a big difference so don€™t confuse them.When I was there for the open house they said they only had 2 apartments left, implying that these are highly sought after.It€™s exhilarating to witness fresh life being injected back into downtown and I believe this project is the beginning of something much bigger for downtown redevelopment. more ...
