I had lived there before and now I'm having to hire a lawyer to help me dissolve my lease because of the horrendous conditions of the property. Roaches and wasps are everywhere in the units and the Property has done nothing to fix it, although they claim they will. Water is shut off throughout the day with no prior warning and you don't stand a chance of getting any repairs done. I was left with mold in my air conditioner for three days after being told I would be serviced as soon as the request was received. I asked to converse with the manager Mackenzie after informing the office staff, Trinity (who is also impolite and unprofessional), that legally they couldn't make me stay here with mold, but I never got a call. Four days later the maintenance crew comes and tries to tell me that it is not mold, only dust, as if I'm blind. My unit has required several repairs since I moved in and, after seven months, it still has not been resolved, yet they anticipate that you will pay the rent punctually each month. This property and its staff are a joke and a waste of your hard-earned rent money, so save yourself the trouble. Even after getting in touch with MMI, the property managing company, I got no reactions to my problems. I have filed a case with the Attorney General's Office. Avoidmore ...hide ...

Do not consider this place unless you are desperate! 1) They don't mention that the apartment is located in a flood zone until bad weather is on the way, and renters insurance won't cover any flooding. 2) McKenzie is the worst of the new management; Do not consider this place unless you are desperate! 1) They don't mention that the apartment is located in a flood zone until bad weather is on the way, and renters insurance won't cover any flooding. 2) McKenzie is the worst of the new management; her attitude is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. 3) Maintenance does work on the apartments, but they come off as if they know what they are doing despite a response time of almost a month depending on rental payment. 4) The dumpsters overflow every week because the management refuses to get extra ones. 5) The gates don't work and there are only cameras in the office. 6) Someone has been stealing packages and going into vehicles. 7) It may look nice on the outside, but at night it turns into a ghetto. 8) There's new paint and appliances, but there's always something broken and you won't find out until you move in. 9) The parking lot floods whenever it rains. 10) The issues, the impolite management, the flooding parking lots, and the ghetto environment make these apartments not worth investing in. 11) There is CONSTANT management turnover.more ...hide ...

I applied for an apartment at this place and the first time the manager Latoya Saunders kept me and my late husband on the waiting list for a prolonged period of time, so much so that we gave up. After my husband passed I applied for an apartment at this place and the first time the manager Latoya Saunders kept me and my late husband on the waiting list for a prolonged period of time, so much so that we gave up. After my husband passed away, I applied again. I learned a great deal from Ms. Saunders; she told me it was a blessing that I was 62, otherwise she would have placed me on the waiting list, since she didn't want anyone under 62 in the apartments. Once I had filled out my application and Ms. Saunders found out I was from New Orleans, she started making demands. She asked for a bank statement, then four bank statements. When she saw a negative item on my credit report, I explained it had been removed after I disputed it, yet she refused to run the report again, saying the main office wouldn't allow it. I called the corporate office and found out this was not true. Ms. Saunders' attitude was unacceptable when she realized where I was from; you can't discriminate against someone because of their city of origin. I am an American citizen. I can't help but wonder if she did the same thing when it was her mom applying for the apartments, and I'm certain she moved other people out of the way to get her in. So if you are under 62, Ms. Saunders has made it clear you will remain on the waiting list. She does not want to rent to anyone unless they are 62 or older.more ...hide ...
