This month, however, when they put the envelope in the drop box, two of the checks had mysteriously disappeared. On March 7, four days after the rent was due, my daughter returned home to find an eviction notice. Bailey, the manager, was impolitely adamant that the checks had been taken to the drop box, and that the office had received one of them, yet she did not explain why the other two had gone missing. Consequently, the roommates have to pay late fees, stop fees on the checks, and cashier check fees because the apartment complex will not accept a personal check. I would absolutely not recommend living here due to their appalling service.more ...hide ...

It is the move-out policy that has caused me to rate them with one star. I had a two-bedroom apartment with a roommate and when our lease was up, my roommate decided to stay and bring in another tenant to take my place. After waiting for my security deposit for over a month, I contacted the office and discovered that if both roommates do not move out together, then their policy is to keep the deposit of the one who left and pass it to the new tenant. This seems incredibly unjust and I tried to figure out how this is legal, but the office refused to explain and just said that my only option was to try to get the money from my former roommate. They also said that they had "legally binding documents" in case I decided to sue them, although I never mentioned that. It is obvious they are aware of their wrongdoings, yet they still do not care. I would not want to deal with them again. Aside from the move-out policy, the rest of my stay was pleasant.more ...hide ...
