I had to wait six months to get one of the 40 parking spaces for 66 units. The community room computer is 10 years old and the new internet service is so bad we don't even bother to use it. The white wrought iron railing has rusted, and our “professional” maintenance man tried to spray paint it on a windy day but just on the inside. He was also responsible for putting a bucket over my bedroom window when the sprinkler system went off like a machine gun at 2am, as well as grinding up a votive candle that I dropped down my garbage disposal. Management offered free ceiling fans but we would have to purchase them ourselves and leave them in the apartment upon vacating. My cracked kitchen counter should have been replaced before I moved in three years ago, but management refuses to fix it so I hide it with clutter from guests. Windows and patios are never cleaned; I had to fight for my blinds, which were stained orange, to be cleaned after living there for over one year! They advertised this place as an active over 55 community yet anyone without an oxygen tank or wheelchair isn't welcome here. Now they want me to pay more rent - why? What improvements? Or is this because of expensive apartments across the street? I'm done being put off and lied too; time for me give notice of vacating soon!more ...hide ...
