Six months ago, a tree fell on our home and cars during a tornado while we were still inside. For the first month and a half, we had to move our children between our parents' houses and then our insurance company arranged for us to stay in a hotel for a few weeks. Eventually, they found us an apartment at Brandywine, where we could stay while our house was being fixed. From the start, the staff at Brandywine made us feel incredibly welcomed and at ease after a long and exhausting summer. The generous space in the apartment allowed our children to relax and process everything they had been through. We are so grateful for their kindness and support. Today, we are going back home, but we will never forget all that Brandywine did for us. The buildings were beautiful and the view from our balcony was a great place for us to reflect. Thank you for giving us a bit of brightness during a difficult time. Your help has been invaluable.more ...hide ...
