You normally get sent in circles, set aside, promised that somebody will come take a look and nothing happens. You can phone the office but you'll likely get a middleman who promises to pass on the message and then nothing happens.
When it comes to cleanliness, the carpeted stairs make sure to trap all the dirt and grime. Every building has a nasty smell, either musty or smoky. Out of the three washing machines in the building, only one works, so it takes ages. The walls and floors are so old you'll hear every footstep, every air conditioner turning on, every shower someone takes.
And as far as the cost is concerned, you get all these horrible benefits for the price of renting a house. Sure, there are no amenities, but you'll still pay the full cost. Let me just say that Revive is very aptly named, since this place is dead and dying.
When it comes to security, the doors are usually propped open or broken. When I moved in a year ago they said they would fit cameras and punish those who did this. There aren't any cameras, perhaps one security guard for over 50 buildings. But they are honestly too scared to enforce many things.
Every time I see somebody looking to rent here I witness people being fooled by cheerful faces.more ...hide ...
