Nevertheless, I give truthful reviews and believe that any improvements should be acknowledged. Even though I and others are disappointed that it required a lot of negative reviews and hard work to get things back on track, I must say that I've noticed a great improvement - the common areas are cleaner, fewer dog droppings, the dog park is regularly cleaned and the poop bags are constantly being refilled. I'd like to thank the woman who is diligently sweeping the hallways and picking up litter in the common areas (this is the first time I've seen that, as we pay a fee for that service). Also, the new snow plow service was much appreciated. Additionally, for the first time ever, my A/C service was done in a timely manner and was well communicated. (Waiting to see if a leak persists but so far no.) I am pleasantly taken aback by this because it could have been like this years ago. All things considered, I appreciate the sudden shift and while I wouldn't recommend it at first, I do think this is a great start in restoring Glen to its former glory.more ...hide ...

My neighbor also had items stolen from his vehicle. Roaches were everywhere in my flat. They said it was new carpet when I moved in, however, I swept three full containers of dirt and pet hair off the floor after settling in. The washing machines never worked. After a month of asking them to fix it, they didn't, so I asked them to take it out. There was a banging sound in the attic on the highest floor all the time. The complex towed my car without leaving a notice (they actually stole it). When I asked why, they said it was because it was in the same spot for too long. The car was always in the corner of the premises with plenty of vacant spaces around it. They never called to inform me that the vehicle was breaching any regulations. Calling the towing firm, they verified they didn't mark it for towing, the complex just told them to remove it. The month preceding my departure, my catalytic converter was taken. The rent I was paying was already absurdly high; looking at current prices is disconcerting.more ...hide ...

The a/c inside works great, which has been a blessing during this hot spell. The maintenance staff always follows up quickly on orders and repairs are usually taken care of within a month due to third party contracts, and sometimes even sooner. The parking lot is also kept up, with potholes filled regularly. They also address any issues with external property lights quickly, usually within three days. I'm not sure how other apartments handle maintenance, but this kind of response rate is exceptional. Mail delivery has been efficient, either via the Amazon Hub with a no contact scan code or a key in the mailbox to access the package lock box. The walls are somewhat thin, but so far any noise issues have been addressed by the office promptly. The only downside I can think of is that the pool isn't open on Sundays since quarantine, but if that's all I have to complain about, then I'd say things are going quite well.more ...hide ...

My experiences are of loud neighbors at all hours. If loud music is not an issue for you, this is one of the least expensive/best value apartment complexes in the Lakewood area.Update 7/2022. There is a violent pet on the property (a pet of a tenant) that attacks other animals, and on multiple occasions has forced open my balcony screen door and attacked my cat. A recent discussion with a management representative led no where. My perception is the property management is not concerned with violent pets on the property. Very disappointing.more ...hide ...
