My grandmother and I were unloading groceries at the entrance and we were both wearing face masks as mandated by the COVID-19 guidelines, although I was the only one without gloves. At this time, Ms. Marlene reprimanded us in an extremely disagreeable manner, informing me that I could not enter the premises without gloves. I accepted her advice without voicing any objection, went to park my car, and returned with gloves and a mask. I noticed that another woman was exiting the property without gloves, so I went over to Ms. Marlene to ask why the unequal application of safety policies. She reacted with affront to my query, and exaggeratedly spoke in an effort to make the situation more intense than it already was, claiming that no one had ever treated her so badly. I tried to explain that her unfairness and lack of equality with regards to the safety regulations was inappropriate, but she proceeded to harass me further by demanding that I fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire form.
