I have been living in these apartments since the start of February, and it is the worst accommodation I have ever experienced. I have had to file 3 requests for work orders since I moved in, including a cracked tile in the bathroom, an infestation of I have been living in these apartments since the start of February, and it is the worst accommodation I have ever experienced. I have had to file 3 requests for work orders since I moved in, including a cracked tile in the bathroom, an infestation of cockroaches in the hallway, and a closet door coming off its hinges. Out of the 3, only 1 was fixed. Maintenance came to repair the closet but didn't replace my faulty refrigerator, despite me reporting it since February 27. The staff are generally friendly, except for the assistant manager who responded inappropriately to me asking questions about the parking permit. She blamed me for not providing my car's registration, and my vehicle was towed due to me not having a permit sticker I was never told about when I signed the lease. I plan to break the contract soon, because it's clear the apartment complex doesn't care about their tenants. more ... hide ...

I have moved in on April 30th 2021 I do love my apt design itself due to me staying in a studio apt I hate that the maintenance does cheap fixes the office lies to you about your dates on fixing I have had to call office more than 5 times since being I have moved in on April 30th 2021 I do love my apt design itself due to me staying in a studio apt I hate that the maintenance does cheap fixes the office lies to you about your dates on fixing I have had to call office more than 5 times since being here for my carpet getting wet and walls with rain coming in through my ac that now has caused a hole in my wall They fixed it with aluminum tape On July 29th It is now August 11th they are here to fix my hole with with polygel When the maintenance came today they dont speak very good English so he didnt even know what he was fixing I called office 3 times as of 431 pm and so on the office isnt closed but I believe they are ignoring my calls more ... hide ...

They called in some exterminators and they sprayed some stuff but it barely did anything. We ended up having to call them back a few weeks later. A year in, it turned into a full on roach infestation. Roaches EVERYWHERE now. No matter how much we try, they just seem to keep on coming.Then, a big problem happened. Their water pipes burst. We, along with many other tenants had no water at all for 2 days. We had to resort to getting water from the taps outside just to take a shower.If all that wasnt worse enough, when our 12 month lease was supposed to come to a close in January of 2021, we were informed that they had no available apartments and that we may have to wait till April of the same year. April came and went and they still told us the same story¦ no apartments available. As of writing this, weve spent a year and a half on a 12 month lease. Even worse, we recently called in again and asked when they would have an apartment available and they told us its likely they wouldnt have one till next year, in 2022. Our only two options as of now is to wait for God knows how long or to break our overextended lease and have to pay over $400 (they actually said that)Our experience at Carriage House started great at first, but It quickly turned sour and now Im just waiting to be out of here. Some good things Ill give them though is that their rent is cheap and close to a lot of places, and that its along the IndyGo bus route.
