So Im sitting in my current driveway pondering what actions to take against these people Monday morning I call at 830am to inquire about the 3 bedroom they had on Craigslist for rent I asked if the apartment was still available and the lady told me ySo Im sitting in my current driveway pondering what actions to take against these people Monday morning I call at 830am to inquire about the 3 bedroom they had on Craigslist for rent I asked if the apartment was still available and the lady told me yes which now I thinking is the property manager because now every time I call shes the one answering the phone she told me the property manager was not in but would be in Tuesday so look out for a email from her I went ahead and filled out the application on the site that was 4000 the site charged me a convenience fee of 300 which was strange because I read the application fee is 3500 and why was I being charged a convenience fee that was my first warning as told the property manager Carol emailed me and asked for my pay stubs social and drivers license I complied with her request she then sent me a email asking me what was I looking for I responded a 3 bedroom please second warning because I stated on my application that I wanted the 3 bedroom 2 bath she there was some mix up with my pay stubs so I called in to clear the air and Carol the property manager told me I would hear from here Wednesday I said ok now Wednesday came and Im expecting to hear from her but I didnt so I called her a little after 2pm she answered the phone and told me she sent me a email asking what was I looking for and when was I looking to move smh again I responded a 3 bedroom and the first of August thats when the truth came out she didnt have a 3 bedroom according to her someone had just put a deposit on the up coming 3 bedroom but she has a 2 bedroom 15 bath town home coming up in August sounds a little funny dont you think I told her let me think about it give me until today Thursday this morning I called her back and told her lets make a deal Ill take the 2 bedroom and the moment a 3 bedroom become available I would transfer into it she responded its a 400 fee to transfer and I would have to wait 6 month before transferring at first I agreed and got dress to head to go pay the deposit which she said was 900 that took me back because if the 3 bedroom is 975 how is a 2 bedroom 900 I walked to my car and and sat in it for over a hour processing everything what she said these people are a scam I went back to read the reviews and Im glad I didnt take my tail down there to give them my hard working money bad enough they got me for 43 in these times places are hard to get but I refuse to jump out of hot water and into the fire I will not keep being taken for a fool something similar happened to me at Hiltin Place apartments yall be carefulmore ...hide ...
