The women at the front office are incredibly rude and unpleasant. Last month, during a snowstorm, the assistant manager shouted at me to move my car for the plow from her car, so I did. As a result, they towed my vehicle since it was parked in the wrong spot. Later, my girlfriend came to visit me at around 11:30 PM, but there were no available visitor parking spots, so she parked in the "resident" parking spot. By the time she was ready to leave at 4 AM, her car had been towed as well, costing us a total of $290. If you value your privacy, do NOT move here; the staff enters your apartment on a monthly basis, claiming they need access to the HVAC closet. This is an inconvenience, particularly since I have a pet that needs to be secured each time they come in (I live in a studio, so this isn't easy). There are lots of alternatives to University Heights; I highly recommend going to one of them. Additionally, this is NOT a Veteran-friendly business, so if you're a Vet, please go somewhere else. To start, the police and fire department are regularly parked in the complex due to the continuous calls from tenants. Furthermore, music is blasting around the clock with no respite, making it impossible to relax in the apartment. The office management has taken no action to address this ongoing issue. The complex is not pet-friendly either, with hurt or dying animals discovered in dumpsters on their property. Security cameras in the parking lot are never functioning, leaving those on the property vulnerable to theft and vandalism. Appliances, such as the thermostat, often break and the office management gives tenants a hard time regardless of the problem. To top it all off, rent has been increased by hundreds to thousands of dollars. If this chaotic atmosphere is your cup of tea, then University Heights in Providence, RI is the place for you.more ...hide ...
