The biggest issue we have had is with transportation to and from medical appointments, which IV had promised. There is one car and one bus, with one driver, and if it's the days they go to the grocery store twice a week, then medical appointments are out of the question. Trying to get a ride for over 100 elderly people is definitely challenging, and my mom only succeeds in scheduling a ride one out of four times. My siblings and I, who are helping from a distance, have found this situation very frustrating. If IV can't provide rides, they should not advertise it. They should find a way to get their residents to medical appointments, such as volunteer drivers from churches, or something.
