It's only been two months since I moved into this apartment, yet I'm already fed up with it. I wasn't given the form that would have allowed me to report any problems in the first place, so I'm sure I won't be getting my security deposit back. The apartment was given to me with an ill-fitting door knob, spider infestations, a broken closet door and outlets that can't even power a charger. I've put in a maintenance request for all these issues, but so far only my closet door has been fixed, and I wasn't even informed beforehand. I've had packages stolen, but I was told that there's no security monitoring, despite signs that say otherwise in the complex. The office doesn't accept packages, there's no locker or mailbox for me to receive parcels securely, and I was told to have them sent elsewhere to be collected. And to top it all off, there's no laundry room such that I have to go elsewhere to get my clothes washed. All this for nearly $1000 a month for a 426 sq ft studio.more ...hide ...
