After submitting all the necessary paperwork, I had to wait a week before getting a response. Even after that, they kept asking for the documents I had already sent, delaying my move-in date further. They sent the rental verification to my former residence, and yet another week passed without any contact. I emailed them to check on my application status, but there was no reply. I visited their office and was promised an email, but nothing happened. I contacted my ex-apartment to see if the rental verification was received, and it was - but it was blank. The leasing assistant stated that I needed to fill it out, though I pointed out that Gardens at Camp Creek should do it. She offered to take care of it and said that if she didn't get the verification by the next day, she would drop my application. Sure enough, that's what I got - an email that they could not proceed with my application. No effort was made whatsoever. I guess it wasn't meant to be, and I hope it works out for someone else.more ...hide ...
