Even after making all payments and offering to pay the entire next lease in advance, I was still issued a Notice of Non-Renewal, meaning I have to leave my first home in FL against my will, with no fault of my own. For the last two months of my leaseEven after making all payments and offering to pay the entire next lease in advance, I was still issued a Notice of Non-Renewal, meaning I have to leave my first home in FL against my will, with no fault of my own. For the last two months of my lease, all my emails, maintenance requests, and inquiries to the management, who are the only ones who can reverse the notice, have been disregarded. This notice was given to me the day after I refused their offer to attend their church and politely explained that I am not religious and am unlikely to change my views. It is apparently a requirement here that you be nice to the staff and pretend to be part of a family, or they will take out their spite on their clients. Not only do they not respond to requests, but they also don't even provide a window of when maintenance staff are likely to show up. Additionally, the laundry facilities are rarely cleaned and the machines work nine out of ten times. Small, harmless roaches can be found in the bathrooms and kitchens, but the maintenance staff is aware of this and chooses not to do anything about it. The area is not bad and the neighbors are mostly nice families, but the staff and management are a huge negative.more ...hide ...
