Nice place to live with access to lots to do near by

Ive lived at the Gables for eight years Its a very quiet very pet friendly family oriented complex Our large townhome includes a huge storage room adjacent to the garage which has been a blessing not having to pay for storage somewhere else The offic Ive lived at the Gables for eight years Its a very quiet very pet friendly family oriented complex Our large townhome includes a huge storage room adjacent to the garage which has been a blessing not having to pay for storage somewhere else The office staff are the best They respond quickly to maintenance issues and try to help make this complex a community They hold events throughout the year to bring residents together The only reason I gave a 4 star rating was that things inside our unit need to be updated a bit but they are minor and mostly cosmetic more ... hide ...

We lived there for three years until we moved last year. The manager now is much better than the one before; she was so impolite and unhelpful. The apartment was decent, and the maintenance was good. We had a problem with a minor leak in the ceiling above the stairs near the garage that took several months to fix, and the previous manager had terrible communication. Parking was also a nuisance. We had a back unit and our driveway was next to a turn-around spot, not a parking spot; large vehicles would park there daily and block us in. Despite the office putting up a sign, people still parked there and the towing threat was never enforced. The sign was also knocked down by a car within two weeks and never fixed. We also had a mouse issue that took a long time to be handled. Snow plowing was also challenging; my husband and I worked early around 6 a.m. and the complex's streets were usually not plowed. In general, it wasn't a bad place. We rented the room next to the office a few times for events and liked it. The pool was nice, but the rocky roads were not. Street lights often burnt out. Fortunately, we got our full security deposit back. If you're still considering it, give it a try. Don't let the prior manager's mistakes deter you; the current manager is great. more ... hide ...

Had a great three years here Good neighbors helpful staff and great place to live The only problem I had was the snow removal they were just slow about it
