You cannot get apartments in West Des Moines this nice with all of these amenities for anywhere near what you pay here. Yeah, there are bad reviews, but majority of them are from the old management. The current management has stepped things up and is getting things under control. The last management messed up a lot of things, including my own lease. Garrett Co has been amazing with working with us on getting our lease updated and fixed. Another thing is that a lot of the bad reviews are based on the people who live here, not the apartments or the management themselves. Any apartment complex is going to have issues with a few bad apples living there. At the end of the day though, that is true for EVERY apartment and it should not reflect on these ones. A main issue people point out is maintenance and the trash situation. I am going into my third year of living here and this is the first time I have been happy about the trash situation, and it is because of our current managers here. If people just put their trash in the compactor and push a single button, all of the issues would be solved. So once again, it is on the people who live here, not management. I worked very closely with Daryyl and he was great He was very quick in communicating if anything needed fixed as far as my application went He was also very calm and understanding in answering any questions I had

I would recommend not moving into the 3 bedroom buildings or maybe even any of them We have had two of our bikes stolen which happened on two separate occasions People park like they have never learned how to drive People are trashing the hallways An I would recommend not moving into the 3 bedroom buildings or maybe even any of them We have had two of our bikes stolen which happened on two separate occasions People park like they have never learned how to drive People are trashing the hallways And i have had trash thrown into my truck bed I would tell this to the management team but they never answer calls from their tenantsnnLike on the occasion that it snows very bad outside and your child has school and the child is wheelchair bound they dont have their team come and clean up the ramps that are between the handicap parking spots They probably cant clean them because people love to park in between the handicapped spots here toonnPeople have also been parking in handicapped spots with no identifiable plaque that says they are handicapped It happens quite often Id saynnSo yeah what ever you do dont move here Theres many other places with management teams that take care of their tenants a lot better than this more ... hide ...
