It was quiet, decent neighbors and there are two separate playgrounds to take your children to with lots of walking or running opportunity. Property management WAS nice. Property management WAS nice. But now we have new manager who is flat out rude and communicates in a condescending manner when addressing residents with concerns or complaint . But, only after you move in. There are copious amounts of dog feces found throughout the property which adds for a great scent during the peak of summer and concerns/complaints are only addressed when the issue is a liability to the property. The walls and flooring are super thin and yes you can hear your neighbors conversations and so forth. Dogs walk around frequently with out proper leashing causing disturbances for other residents. Lakewood property staff is a dictatorship. Unless no other choice, secure a mortgage. spending 1400 plus a month is better suited for home owning where you have the ultimate say. more ... hide ... It seems to be a very safe area given that there are always children outside at play. The area is convenient, close enough to 610 and Quantico but relatively secluded. The gym is a convenient and nice place to work out. Every apartment has a patio which is small but nice for sitting outside. My only complaint is that they have trash compactors instead of dumpsters and many of the residents are inconsiderate, just throwing their trash next to the compactor instead of inside. This is not the fault of the housing office as much as some of the residents. As for the staff, maintenance is very friendly and helpful, and in the office, Anna always has a smile on her face and is willing to help with anything you need. more ... hide ...
