It's hard to go anywhere without having to park in a lot that's far away from my unit, even though we pay more than 1100 in rent. Furthermore, several of our neighbors have multiple cars, most of which don't even have valid tags, which should be a violation of the property's parking policy. We are charged for pest control every month, yet they've never inspected my unit even after my request. As a result, I have resorted to using essential oils to keep pests away. On top of that, management is very sluggish in solving issues. My friend, who also stays in the area, has had to endure extremely hot nights for weeks due to his AC not being fixed or changed. During the warmer months, at night, robberies and shootings occur frequently, making it even more difficult for me to park near my building coming back from work. Additionally, the water gets shut off here almost every other week for hours, generally at times that are different from what was initially announced in the memos.more ...hide ...

My contract stated that central air and heat were included. The first time, I had difficulty getting hold of the office because the weekend came before I could reach them. The maintenance dude mentioned something about the previous tenant having issues with AC. So, due to this, I had to go a week without AC. The second time, there was an excuse of death in the family (which is understandable). Again I ended up spending a weekend without air conditioning as he is the only one who handles such jobs. When it happened for a third time, I almost got really angry. On Friday evening when I visited their office Alex (the manager) asked me what made me more special than all the other 8 complaints ahead of me! People with kids should be given priority when it's over 100°F outside! It felt like he hadn't even taken my complaint into consideration as Thursday evening itself I had informed them about this issue but on Saturday nothing was done yet! Even though there's no pool here and my apartment is on 3rd floor facing sunnyside; still balconies can't be opened due to hornets and water bugs coming in! Although location wise it's great but management isn't providing much sympathy towards tenants!. After looking at reviews online; now regretting my decision of moving here once again! When lease ends this time around Im gonna look formore ...hide ...
