I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. When a friend asked me about it, I urged them to stay as far away as possible. The parking lots and the stairs up to the apartments are constantly covered in rubbish and one of the steps on my building has been broken since December. The doors are electronic and need a key, and when I asked for a new battery for the lock, it took them three maintenance requests and a week and a half to sort out. Now my air conditioner is broken and they fixed it, but 10 days later it still wasn't working properly. I had to buy a fan for my room, which cost me $30, because it never gets below 80-76 degrees. The only response from management is to "call the emergency maintenance line", even though they don't pick up. They just do the bare minimum, but if your rent is a day late, you get a letter about eviction. Maintenance doesn't care and the management will deny it. If I could, I'd stand outside all day and tell people not to live here. It's better to live with your parents or on campus than here. Oh, and the gate has broken again for the tenth time since I moved here in August.more ...hide ...

This business is not responsive and does not pick up their phone, even when called from various numbers at different times of day. It is also poor practice to expect customers to pay for information needed to make an informed decision. Although the complex is located across from UNCC, they do not provide answers to questions that college students may have, such as what happens if one terminates a 12-month lease early.
