I recently applied to this apartment complex and they had a two-bedroom that was within my Section 8 voucher price range. I applied four to five times and paid the application fees each time, only to be denied with a verbal excuse. The first excuse was that I wouldn't qualify because I was working a temporary job, when Section 8 should be counted as income according to state laws. The second time I spoke with them, I was told I had to complete various tasks, such as having a notarized letter from my job by the next day. They discriminated against me because I had Section 8, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service was horrible and disrespectful. more ... hide ...
