Mg properties is a corporate entity out of San Diego California The review that you will read below is directed solely at MG properties Since they are the ones responsible for this poor behavior Not the staff that runs Marina village apartmentsnWho hMg properties is a corporate entity out of San Diego California The review that you will read below is directed solely at MG properties Since they are the ones responsible for this poor behavior Not the staff that runs Marina village apartmentsnWho happen to be wonderful peoplennnIve been renting at Marina village for 13 years Every year when I get my lease renewal I always pick the least expensive lease option that they send me So I can stay within a budget So Ive been paying around 1200 for rent for 12 years Last year they told me that my new and only lease option was going to be 600 more bumping me up to 1800 per month this year theyre bumping it up another 200 I guess thats my punishment for choosing the least expensive lease that they list for me to choose from I dont know anyone who makes 800 raises for cost of living in 2 years These people do not care about community The used words like better community but what they fail to realize is that community means the people that live there not the structures not shareholder profits Im a member of this community and I have been the last 13 years They do not care about me and they do not care about you all they care about is making money Thats not what a community should be about Communities should look out for each other and take care of each other because we are the community Now I have to leave my community and find a new home because someone cares more about an extra few hundred dollars a month then they do about a kind member of the communitynMg properties can consider this review as the first step for my declaration for war If youve ever rented at Marina village apartments or any other subsidiary of mg properties and had the same experience Give them only one star and write a review revealing their poor behavior This hurts corporate If theyd have come to me and said your rent is not at market value and we really want to get it up to market value So well be raising your annual lease agreements by 150 for each renewal I would have been fine with that But now Mg properties will be tried in the court of public opinion and they will losemore ...hide ...
