I have great rental history and have been renting since I was 17 (now being 38). This is clearly false information and they are trying to take advantage of people. I wouldn't look at this place ever again, I would rather pay more for rent than to have to deal with this. On top of the application fees, they charge an administration fee, so it's best to opt for a more expensive apartment complex. The old adage is true - you get what you pay for. This is false advertising and they are trying to steal your money for a cheap apartment complex. I thought this place was a good option given the rent and my disability, but I was shocked at the high deposit and admin fees. If I had to pay that much, I would just rent a house.more ...hide ...

I've noticed that the rent has increased since the last time I lived here two or three years ago. I initially rented a studio for $845, which wasn't too bad for the locale. I initially rented a studio for $845, which wasn't too bad for the locale. I never had any major bug concerns or security issues. The exterior of the building looks quite shabby when compared to the other apartments, particularly since they changed to 'The Park at' managers. They painted the whole place with an unappealing reddish brown and tan, giving it a very dated feel. On the plus side, the interiors are updated and have nice countertops and cabinetry. Unfortunately, none of the units have in-unit washers and dryers. Additionally, two out of three of the laundry facilities are usually out of service, particularly on weekends. This was the primary reason I decided to move out.
On the positive side, the location is awesome! It's so close to the bridge and you can get to either Saint Peter or Clearwater quickly, but also near downtown/Hyde Park if you want to go there. Plus, it's very close to the airport, so if you travel a lot I would suggest this apartment complex or a nearby one. The office staff is pleasant. They've helped me in a few jams when I locked myself out of my apartment or misplaced my keys. They also didn't raise the rent during the Covid crisis, which was really nice. I didn't ever feel unsafe, and I often walkedmore ...hide ...

WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT LIVE HERE.This apartment property management team is trash. My AC unit broke so I submitted an emergency request order, never received a call back, had to have a friend move my cats out because I was out of town and the heat was unbearable. Submitted a second request that was ignored. Had to call the office twice to get a maintenance person out there.I also had an open maintenance ticket for the lock that was also messed up, (couldnt turn my key properly). This ticket has been unresolved for weeks and they decided to take care of it at the same time as the AC. I get a message that AC is fixed finally (three days after first request) so I bring myself and pets home AND THE LOCK HAS BEEN CHANGED WITHOUT TELLING ME. I am now locked out of my own apt with two pets due to this teams incompetence. I have already submitted an early lease termination and I suggest you do the same or better yet NEVER LIVE HERE.more ...hide ...

Recently, I have been having problems with the gate, so I decided to call the office and inform them. I had to call several times before someone answered, and then they couldn't help me. When I did receive a call back, they asked if it was my phone, as if the gate hadn't been working for weeks. I even tried calling in myself, but it wouldn't ring. I noticed other cars had the same issue. Additionally, the pool is still not functioning, even though it is summertime. They always had some flimsy excuse.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE; IT IS NOT WORTH IT! I have been living here for almost two years. Initially, the gate never worked, then the pool was closed the majority of the time. With the new management, some of the prices increased, even though we had a lease signed. They always have water shut off or electricity outages. They are expensive for the size and amenities they offer, and they don't even work! The new owners are outrageous. I gave them one star so I could leave a review, but they don't even deserve that. The hidden fees and charges are excessive. I cannot wait for my lease to end so I can leave this awful place!more ...hide ...
