They will put you on a waiting list and when you call and inquire, they will say it is still being reviewed. They have a system where they collect applications and pick the one that is most suitable, but you have to wait for months with all kinds of excuses. They will give you the runaround and never have an answer regarding your application status. After asking many questions, they will then tell you that they have sent emails or correspondence because something was missing. They are not trustworthy and are very unprofessional; don't bother speaking to them as they do not have people skills. If you need an apartment urgently, avoid these people. Despite the fact that I gave her all the same materials, that did not seem to be enough. We need a larger apartment since another baby is on the way, so I called in every week to ask about the status. Unfortunately, they rushed me off the phone and just said it was "being processed." Then, Shelly said her general manager picked up our application and some others, and he was going to decide who to accept...? That is not professional, courteous, or even remotely proper business etiquette. Shouldn't apartment rentals be based on a "first come, first served" basis? Not here. Whoever fits their criteria the best. Maybe I was not the right color in their eyes. I had better service at the McDonald's down the street. I wasted three trips from NYC (where I currently live) for nothing. I asked them to remove my application and erase our personal documents, and not run our credit since I do not want to stay in a place with such terrible management.
