When asking for an apartment, they will tell you one is available, but then ask for all your documents and show the same apartment to other people. They will put you on a waiting list and when you call and inquire, they will say it is still being reviewed. They have a system where they collect applications and pick the one that is most suitable, but you have to wait for months with all kinds of excuses. They will give you the runaround and never have an answer regarding your application status. After asking many questions, they will then tell you that they have sent emails or correspondence because something was missing. They are not trustworthy and are very unprofessional; don't bother speaking to them as they do not have people skills. If you need an apartment urgently, avoid these people. I wish the lowest score I can give is one because overall I would have given them zero.more ...hide ...

Since early December, I have been trying to get my application "processed," but Shelly seems to be having trouble printing the documents; they kept coming out either "too big" or "missing information." Despite the fact that I gave her all the same materials, that did not seem to be enough. We need a larger apartment since another baby is on the way, so I called in every week to ask about the status. Unfortunately, they rushed me off the phone and just said it was "being processed." Then, Shelly said her general manager picked up our application and some others, and he was going to decide who to accept...? That is not professional, courteous, or even remotely proper business etiquette. Shouldn't apartment rentals be based on a "first come, first served" basis? Not here. Whoever fits their criteria the best. Maybe I was not the right color in their eyes. I had better service at the McDonald's down the street. I wasted three trips from NYC (where I currently live) for nothing. I asked them to remove my application and erase our personal documents, and not run our credit since I do not want to stay in a place with such terrible management. To save yourself a headache, look elsewhere.more ...hide ...

I was highly disappointed in the integrity of this business. Last week I went to their leasing office without an appointment; upon arriving, the older lady with blonde hair informed me that an employee was running late. I was highly disappointed in the integrity of this business. Last week I went to their leasing office without an appointment; upon arriving, the older lady with blonde hair informed me that an employee was running late. She proceeded to give me a rude grin while looking me up and down; when I mentioned upgrades on the property she acted dismissive and standoffish. While waiting, I heard her discussing me with another leasing agent by describing my attire (flip flops) as inappropriate and referring to me as a €œgirl€ without realizing how old I am. Not only did I not expect such treatment but all I wanted was to pick up an application for two family members wishing to relocate. #1 It is unprofessional for employees to discuss clients or other workers in their presence, especially regarding private matters. #2 No matter what kind of clothing someone wears they should be respected equally like any other person. #3 There are many bias trainings that can help prevent bad behavior from workers like this woman had displayed towards me; her lack of professionalism caused us not to come back on Saturday for a tour or rent an apartment at Imperial Gardens - my family decided it would be better if they took their business elsewhere instead. As both a homeowner and business owner, it has always been important for myself to show respect, decency, and professionalism towards anyone I come into contact with because rude behavior reflects badly on companies' relations internally as well as externally.more ...hide ...
