Joe is a nice person, however the man with a heavy accent is not as polite or respectful. Situation: I'm in the apartment when I hear someone fiddling with the door lock. I yell out "hello" but there is no response. I am standing at the top of the stairs in my underwear when the man appears in the kitchen. He says, "Oh, I didn't realize anyone was here." I reply, "Well now you do, so what do you need? How can I help you?" He says he is there to take away the refrigerator because a new one will arrive within twenty minutes. I tell him I have stuff in it and I need to clean it out and get dressed before he can take it. I expect him to leave, but instead he says the delivery people will be here in twenty minutes. I move to the stairs and tell him I will be ready before he returns. He says "Okay, 20 minutes" and then walks back down the stairs. I'm not giving this place 4 stars yet, as I believe in common courtesy and he lacks it. However, I absolutely love the area; the highway is right around the corner, and Metro North RR is across the street (3 minutes walk from the complex to the train door). I can be at Grand Central in 1 and a half hours. more ... hide ...
