How it even has three stars is beyond me, probably because of fake reviews or first impressions. I stayed here for a bit over a year before I could no longer take it; it looks good on the outside and hardwood floors make you think you're somewhere nice. My first night there, the hallway reeked of deep fried poop and old seafood - and during the tour, no one was around so everything was quiet while windows were open to air out the place. Then came my second night when my upstairs neighbor had their music blasting while the next door neighbor's kids ran around until 11:00pm! You can hear pretty much anything that goes on, like being in a big house - but even in houses people don't usually hear each other through walls like this. Management wouldn't do anything besides telling me to call the police who weren't too thrilled about constantly being called out to this community. The newer management did seem more willing to work with residents though they couldn't fix shoddy construction so...I'm out! It's depressing that a company would build such an awful place where I can't even find parking when coming home; plus I don't want my children surrounded by potheads and those who game the system instead of working hard like me for their living.more ...hide ...

I move around a lot for work and have lived in a lot of apartment complexes. Ive lived at Jefferson Village now for 2 years and it has been one of the better, if not best, experiences I have had out of 6 other apartments in the past 12 years. I hope to stay here long term. The community is quiet and the neighbors are really nice. Staff is quick to address anything. Price seems a little high for a one bedroom but to me its worth it - I get peace of mind living here along with all the amenities and great service. I highly recommend if your looking for a nice place that wont break your bank but you will be comfortable.more ...hide ...

They should be ashamed of the prices they charge for water! Looks like over inflated salaries!

I have had so many issues with both of the apartments I€™ve been at it€™s ridiculous. I reported I needed a new air conditioner at my old apartment and did not receive one until a month or so later and it wasn€™t even a new one it was a used one. Which would have been fine if it didn€™t break about 2 weeks later. Then I have an issue with the bottom of my door rotting off leaving a 2 inch gap from my floor to the bass of the door. They proceeded to tell me I didn€™t need a new door I just needed a metal plate to cover it. I only got my new door my bringing her over to my house and showing her the hole in my door. Then I moved and had to move my air conditioners over to my new apartment myself because the ones in there were so old and unused when we tried to turn them on they blew out dirt and she didn€™t want her guys moving them for us. Then we found out my second bedroom window was pouring water in every time it rained. Ruining chargers soaking our bed and floor. We have been in this apartment since December and have had nothing but problems. The window still has not been fixed. And now my living room window is leaking when it rains. I had them come out (yet again) and this time the problem was found! There was a 2-3 inch gap between the window and the window frame. The windows were not put in properly at all the first time. And talking to other people I have come to find out this was an issue reported to Lorraine before I had even moved in and nothing was done about it. Today they were supposed to actually fix it but it was raining so it€™s getting pushed to next Thursday because it€™s also supposed to rain Monday- Wednesday. Hope (works at the front desk) had asked if I wanted something temporary in the mean time I had told her only if the person working on my window had a suggestion. Lorraine had called me back and told me he specifically suggested some type of plastic and tape for now I said as long as he personally suggested it i will have him do it. I had told her to call me when he was ready to do it because I wanted to be there to oversee the work being done she said okay. At this point everyone knew I wanted to be there when the work was being done. I left for work and later found my phone had been blown up by phone calls from my sister and Hope from the office. (Mind you my name is the ONLY name on my lease) Everyone had reminded her I wanted to be there before anything was done and Lorraine took it upon herself to ignore my request and send him anyway while I was not there. So I get there and come to find out Lorraine has now gone against my wishes twice. The person working on my windows NEVER suggested the plastic and tape! He said it was a waste and probably wasn€™t going to work! Which is probably what she was trying to hide by having him go there before I got there. Lorraine has been lying to tenants and not fulfilling her job as property manager for so long it€™s honestly embarrassing to say I live here. My shower knob also broke a while ago and me and the workers had to fight for her to order the part for my shower and even when Lorraine finally ordered the part it wasn€™t the right one. I sent her the picture of my shower knob in march and still have not received my new shower knob. I am beyond dissatisfied with the help I receive from Lorraine. She completely goes against my wishes and tries to do everything the cheapest way possible, which in the end will end up costing her more money.more ...hide ...
