It is managed by Capitol Villa, so getting to their main office requires walking through a wall and fence that divides the properties. This can be an issue during winter when I have to pick up something from the office but since it's usually open until 6 PM or later, it's not usually a problem.
The nice elements of living here include its pleasant atmosphere in the apartments - aside from water heating and heating system being connected - plus its proximity to MSU; which is great for me as a Lyman Briggs student with multiple classes at Holmes. Furthermore, management is kind and considerate of tenants' experiences while also ensuring they know about any neighborhood events.
Overall, this is a nice complex to live in.more ...hide ...
I love it here The 2 full bathrooms are amazing to have especially with 3 people living there The washer and dryer is also very nice to have since I dont have to leave my apartment to do laundry Definitly reccommend
UPDATE I find it personally hilarious that the pool and residents lounge were reinstated the day I posted this review That does not change the fact that we did not have these amenities for the entirety of our time here Giving it to us 2 weeks before UPDATE I find it personally hilarious that the pool and residents lounge were reinstated the day I posted this review That does not change the fact that we did not have these amenities for the entirety of our time here Giving it to us 2 weeks before we move out doesnt countnnMy roommates and I lived in Park Place Apartments from Fall 2017Fall 2018 After spending a year here we have several complaints Although some of these complaints may be specific to our experience we believe many of them must have been experienced by the entire communitynnFirst of all upon signing our lease we were promised a seasonal pool and hot tub The pool and hot tub have been closed the entire year It was open probably for a month when we moved in and hasnt opened back up since Two months ago they filled it up with water but the gate remains locked apparently due to unsafe chlorine and pH levels A pool is an amenity that factors into the decision making process of many people when choosing an apartment complex and is one we feel that we should be reimbursed fornnIn addition to this for our entire time here the leasing office has been under construction causing management to move the leasing office into the residents lounge The residents lounge became a small and cramped office space detrimental and unwelcoming to both a studying space and a space to hang out as we were initially told it was meant for With the leasing office in the lounge there was no longer room for the pool table so they got rid of itnnFurthermore if you live in Park Place the Spartan Net wifi does not reach This is not something they tell you So you have to get your own router but the wifi is painfully slow and cuts in and out since the modem is a building over Essentially we are forced to pay 80 per month for a technology package that barely even worksnnIn addition to this there were parking issues pest issues and heating and cooling issues the specifics of which I wont get into Overall we feel defrauded and lied to and hope that no one else makes the same mistake of renting an apartment at Park PlacennSincerelynnCourtney Cameronmore ...hide ...
