It's important to know as much information as possible about a property before choosing it as your home. Here are the pros and cons that I have experienced so far: PROS: -The large appliances in my apartment were new. -The floor was polished. -The view of the trees and plants in the inner court is nice. -Assigned parking is available (which sold me). -Close enough to Newark airport. -The maintenance man comes in due time for emergencies. CONS: -There was an ant and roach issue before I took it upon myself to treat them with borax acid. -The floor squeaks in certain areas of my apartment (thankfully, I'm not below anyone). -If anyone in the building smokes cigarettes, you can smell it throughout the hallway and even into your own apartment through the vents (secondhand smoking). I complained but nothing was really done about it. -There is a lot of noise from nearby trains, emergency vehicles, and cars/motorcycles with loud mufflers, among other things. -All of the machines in the laundromat aren't working properly.
