In the end, they decided to move out due to safety concerns after someone attempted to break into the apartment at 11 pm, an incident which was only resolved when the police intervened. The management, McKenzie and another lady at the office, expressed their apologies but could not do anything else. Consequently, the lessee was charged two extra months of rent and their security deposit was not returned. Furthermore, the leasing documents stated that if the tenant were to be killed due to a lack of safety, all fees would still be applicable. The tenant paid all the necessary fees in order to maintain peace and protect themselves, but still did not receive their security deposit back, even though the apartment was left in the same condition it was initially rented in. It is advised to be aware of this type of situation, especially for those who may not be in a financial position to cope with it. Hopefully, this review will help someone.more ...hide ...
