When we had thirty days left, a form to renew the lease was placed on my door. We refused since we already had a new house to move into. We were told we would do an inspection before leaving, but no one got back to us (we tried to contact her several times but heard nothing). So, we left without completing the inspection. Mrs. Teresa never contacted us regarding the deposit. Months later, we received a letter stating that our deposit wouldn't be returned, plus we had to pay $600+ for new carpet and paint. The unit was spotless when we left. We asked to meet with her to discuss it, as there was no carpet damage, but our call was never returned. We waited so long that the balance moved to a creditor. When we reached out to pay it, the bill was only $400. A previous tenant also informed us that their bill was more than what they actually owed when they moved out. It appears that Glen Lake likes to take advantage of people. If you move into Apt. 204, you'll have to deal with an old woman who complains about you walking around the complex at 1 pm. more ... hide ...
