I was pleased that our apartment lacked carpeting in any of the rooms and the bedroom was roomy. Our bedroom had a sizable walk-in closet that impressed me and plenty of storage space. They also let pets with a fee and a monthly fee increase. Every other building had a laundry room, which was convenient, and since it was a garden apartment, there was a lot of outdoor space to lounge outside and grill. At nighttime, the area was very peaceful and police officers drove through the apartments regularly, which made me feel secure. On the negative side, we did have cockroaches in the kitchen but even the most luxurious apartments can have bugs. It's mainly about the people living there and not the building itself. If you enjoy walking, there was a creek running through the center of the apartments which was an excellent place to take your pet and, past the bridge, you could find a charming little dog park. The location was ideal, right off highway 46 and other nearby highways such as 280 and 80. You could walk to the Morris shopping plaza which had restaurants, a gym, TJ Maxx/Marshall's, Harmons, a nail salon, and more. The management was very attentive. They took care of my bug issue the following day. Elizabeth was sharp and would get anything you needed to be done quickly. The personnelmore ...hide ...

I was able to talk to one of the nice guys working outside n he said power will be out for about 4 or more hours! The apartment management didnt bother letting anyone know! And they have been working on the same issue for months now!!! They have no respect for paying tenants! At least have them work during the day!!! Not at night when people n kids need to sleep to go to work and kids need to go to school! I use to like Rutgers village when we first moved in! Now I cant wait to move out! This place is not worth it!!!more ...hide ...
