My in-laws were denied an apartment even though they had been on the waitlist for 10 years; Danessa Gaston (save yourself from her!) gave a ridiculous excuse that they didn't have utility bills to prove their residence (they had been living in a studio without bills all that time). She was incredibly rude and hostile--it was clear she wouldn't let them rent unless there was something in it for her. The management is corrupt; they don't give out apartments just like that, as they should be doing--you know what happened at Luna Park Management, and it's the same here too. I contacted MMS Group Family of Companies' senior compliance officer about this conflict of interest but got no help whatsoever--she actually defended Danessa Gaston's actions! We filed a complaint with HUD and are taking this case to court now; anyone whose waitlist has finally been called should be prepared for what might come next. more ... hide ...
