We had a wonderful visit with my dad and his wife; the transition was made smoother for them and me due to the staff members. It had been over two months since my dad had his stroke, so this was a big deal. I have a lot on my plate since the stroke, but everyone here has made it easier. We are thankful for all the support you have given to both my dad and me. At first, my dad was not pleased to be here, but the Healthcare floor, Physical Therapy, Billing, Nursing, Maintenance and security personnel (I apologize if I left out a department) have made it a place he feels like family. I visit him every day and he's always in high spirits, telling me about the people he speaks to and how they make him laugh or know him for who he is, not the stroke. He'll probably be leaving soon, but that wouldn't be possible without all of you. Even though things may not be perfect, you've made it seem so, or at least close to it. Working at the village and daycare has been a great experience and I'll be sure to spread the word about the staff and the village. Once again, thank you. We feel privileged. I am here for rehabilitation after having a hardware removed in my ankle. Most of the staff is kind and friendly, though there are a few who are rude, nasty, and toxic. It is best to avoid those people if possible. On Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:30, I am here for rehabilitation after having a hardware removed in my ankle. Most of the staff is kind and friendly, though there are a few who are rude, nasty, and toxic. It is best to avoid those people if possible. On Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:30, they have bingo on the third floor, as well as beauty days where they do nails. Most of the therapists are nice and friendly, except for one I don't like who deliberately distracts me when I try to count and keep track of my exercises. Every Wednesday there is group therapy session on the fourth floor where everyone goes to the therapy gym and does exercises. If you tell Suzanne you want to play the therapy games on the TV with a wand, you can win prizes. Additionally, if you don't like what is on the menu, you can substitute it. Just make sure to check the calendar on the wall each day as something different is always going on. Bre on the third floor is nice and runs bingo and crafts. You can win prizes while playing bingo. You can also go for walks or sit outside. My only complaint is that they don't pay attention when you tell them about an appointment the week before and they will forget to arrange transportation for you, claiming they knew nothing about the appointment. Even if you give them an appointment card, they will deny it, even if you remind them the day before. Additionally, if you need arthritis medicine, don't expect them more ... hide ...
