Another tenant reported their smoke alarm malfunctioning to the landlord but no action was taken. The landlord has been known to threaten eviction without notice if his mother doesn't like a tenant. He accepts Section 8 but if a tenant loses their Section 8 assistance, he will look for someone who will benefit from it more than them. One family has been waiting more than two months for their security deposit to be returned. All of this leads to a one-star rating, as a better landlord and improved maintenance are needed.
